Artisanal, hand-crafted organic recipe gold and silver rums to be showcased at weekend events across New Orleans
(New Orleans, LA — July 17, 2013) Artisanal, hand-crafted organic rums produced by Paradise Imports, LLC will be poured for tasting and paired with traditional New Orleans desserts at Tales of the Cocktail®, the world’s premier cocktail festival, July 17-21, 2013.
The rums, offered in Gold and Silver distillations, are branded under the Gubba label and are hand-crafted from organic cane sugar and vanilla bean using a Creole family recipe that dates back to the 1800’s.
Both Gubba offerings are poured at leading venues, including exclusive bars in New York and Miami’s South Beach where discriminating bartenders and rum connoisseurs have lauded Gubba Gold rum for its light, natural notes of organic caramel and vanilla and hailed the Gubba Silver rum for its clean and organic coconut tropical essence that provides a distinctive foundation for premium cocktails.
To demonstrate the elegance and versatility of both the Gubba Gold Rum and Gubba Silver Rum, each will be showcased alongside a traditional New Orleans white chocolate bread pudding prepared by local chefs at the Tales of the Cocktail event. The spirits will also be featured in a wide range of exotic cocktails during bartender competitions as well at leading restaurants, bars and hotels across New Orleans.
