About Gubba Rum

My name is Steven Gubb and I am the creator of Gubba Rum.
While on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Saint Martin with my wife.

We were introduced to a delicious rum liquor poured from a hand painted bottle.
The experience left us amazed!

Upon returning to the States, we wanted to relive our adventure from home but to no avail.
“Everyone should be able to taste the true spirit of the tropics!” I thought as I reminisced.

I sampled rums from the best Liquor stores and even searching online proved fruitless.
Nothing similar was marketed or available in the United States.
Giving up was not an option, significant time and effort had been spent but not wasted.
I was going to have to find a distiller that would work with me to create the flavor myself.

Eventually I found what I required in an artisanal distiller in Colorado.

They worked with me until the taste was exactly what I remembered.
What we created was two remarkable Rums infused with organic Vanilla and Coconut.
Gubba Rum Gold and Gubba Rum Silver were born.
Pure Cane, the finest fruits and spices the world has to offer is infused into a rum recipe that dates to the early 1800’s.
